Hi, and thank you for visiting my website. My name is Paul Cook and I'm a DSA Approved Driving Instructor based in Woodfield Avenue, Colinton. That's me and the car pictured at the top of the page.
My promise and commitment to you is to provide the highest quality of training, so
that you learn safe driving habits for life. Consequently you'll pass your driving
test earlier, and at minimum cost. I hope you find this website useful and that
you decide to use Cook Driver Training.
Why choose me?
All lessons with Cook Driver
Training are with me, one to one. As an "Independent" I don't work for a franchised
school. Franchised instructors are often stretched too thin, trying to cram in as
many pupils as possible in order to pay their large weekly franchise fees. Quality,
focus, and personal attention inevitably suffers, with a knock-on effect to the time
taken to pass.
With me, you'll receive my time, encouragement and support. I don't
give harsh correction and I'm extremely patient. I like to maintain high pass rates
so you'll receive lots of exposure to test routes to minimise any surprises on Test
day, as well as exposure to routes further afield to make you more accomplished.
I will also carry out mock tests which will boost your confidence before test day.
So no matter how nervous you think you'll be, I promise you this - you can drive
and it can actually be quite fun!
Areas covered
I live in Colinton so you may have
seen me giving driving lessons in Colinton, Currie, Balerno, Wester Hailes, Corstorphine,
Morningside, Oxgangs, Sighthill, Longstone, Murrayfield, Craiglockhart, and other
areas in South and West Edinburgh. If you are near those vacinities, I can get to
you easily.
